The Wild Goose Give Back®

The Wild Goose Exchange works to have a positive impact on the environment by reusing and recycling clothing. Customers buy, sell, and trade clothing, giving it a second life and not contributing to the demand and waste of clothing pollution. We are committed to supporting the communities and environments in which we operate by having environmentally conscious practices and providing space for other innovative partnerships, which are mentioned below.

COLLABs, a not-for-profit 501 ( c) (3) - provides retail space and small business support to makers and creators of fashion. The COLLABs space provides individual makers and creators with connections, a collective network and a space that serves to significantly reduce operational expenses while exploring how to start and grow a small business simultaneously testing their product in the market place. The Wild Goose Exchange realized it could help.  And we did.  We made a commitment to utilize approximately 900 square feet of prime downtown retail space in the back of our store to showcase individual creators and makers.  With our origin story as a Pop Up within Fox Commons to a now thriving business with 3 locations - Appleton, WI; Kenosha, WI; and Broad Ripple Indianapolis, IN - – we know we know how exciting, thrilling and risky such an endeavor can be, and want to support emerging fashion creators and makers with the network we’ve built, maintained and continue to grow.

 WHO WE ARE: COLLABs aim is to lower the barriers of opportunity to a diverse pool of entrepreneurs and retail creators and makers; small businesses entrepreneurs and create a launch pad for startup and early stage retail entrepreneurs.
